There is one thing that we all have in common no matter how old we are is that we all have birthdays every year and young or old, most people enjoy a good party. Sometimes though they can be boring for not only the guests but for the person the party is for. That's why it's sometimes fun to include some party games for the birthday party. Games aren't just for kids. Elderly a lot of times will enjoy playing some fun games while at a birthday party. It gives everyone the chance to unite together everyone instead of being off separate from each other. Everyone feels involved when there's a game going on.
One of the most popular games of course would be Bingo and if that seems to be over used, it might be, but older people and even kids really seem to like it. This is especially true if you have prizes for those that get Bingo. It's an easy game to play for everyone and both men and women enjoy playing it together so everyone can get involved. Some good prizes are gift cards for restaurants or retail stores. Everyone loves to be able to get what they want. But any prize is good, because people just enjoy winning prizes.
Another fun thing that you can do is hold a birthday party trivia contest. You are never too old to play trivia. This is a great game for a birthday party because it will not only test the knowledge of everyone but it will also give the seniors plenty chances to sit around and reminisce about the good old days. You can find a lot of your trivia questions off of the Internet. You can also get a lot of them from the different Trivial Pursuit games that are available on the market. A good thing to do is to go over the questions and try to pick out questions that sound like they might not be all that much fun for your party guests. You should keep the contests short and have do it several times so that everyone gets a shot at playing and winning a prize. You can do it as a competition between two people or make up two teams with multiple players on the teams.
Another good one is how well do they know the guest of honor. This is kind of like the trivia contest but it is a lot more personal. This contest will have the guests being asked questions about the guest of honor. The whole idea behind this game is to see who knows the most about the guest of honor. The one who knows the most will of course win the contest prize.
