Now that you have done this you will need to go through all of the things that you are thinking of selling and make a list of all of them. Once you have made a list you need to take a picture of every item that you are selling. It is harder to sell an item if the person who is interested in bidding on it can't see what it looks like.

You will also need to do a little bit of research on a lot of your items to see what they might be worth in the retail world. This can be part of your description or it can help you decide on a minimum bid you will accept for the item. It is also important because it will help to keep you from overpricing an item.

Make sure that each item you are planning on putting up for auction has a really good description. You need to make sure to include things like the size, the color, type of material it's made out of and any special features there might be. If there are flaws, you will need to include this in your description as well. You don't want to try and hide something from a buyer because that is going to hurt your reputation for selling in the future.

Make sure that you don't rip yourself off by not charging enough freight or charging too much freight. A lot of the sites will have calculators that will calculate a fair shipping charge for you so you don't have to worry about it. Overcharging for an item on shipping is not going to help sell the product.

If you plan on selling items for a long period of time it's important that you build a good reputation with buyers. Most of these sites encourage everyone to leave feedback especially the buyers. If you get even one negative feedback you might not be able to sell very many items in the future so always make sure to do your best to give each customer a positive experience.
